The Farm

We will always aim to give interested visitors (however young or old they maybe) an introduction to the natural wonders you can find on the farm.

During the warmer months a moth light is run most nights and in the morning a stunning amount of these beautiful and somewhat unknown insects can be viewed before release. Bring a camera as there are terrific photo-opportunities. Over 100 species can be recorded on a warm night.

A walk around the grass margins can reveal 7 Orchid species depending on the season and a wide spectrum of rare and declining arable flora, and this will take in the areas where habitat restoration is taking place.

A quiet walk around the lakes can give sightings of the elusive, but resident, Otters: and in the evenings we can watch badgers coming out of their setts.

The exact itinerary of what we look at, and when, will depend on the weather and season.

Delicious locally made afternoon teas direct to your door!

The Norfolk Scone Company is a local company based in North Norfolk.  They provide afternoon teas for delivery, as well as catering for all occasions.

They take great pride in using locally sourced and home grown produce wherever possible. Using nothing unnatural and they make everything from scratch.

They only use butter and unrefined sugars in their baking. Their gluten flour is supplied by Letheringsett Mill, eggs are from a variety of local sources, cheese comes from Mrs Temple along with other local producers, and their herbs, fruit and veg are grown locally whenever possible.

We have got together with them to offer Afternoon Tea hampers delivered to your door.  Orders can be placed at the time of booking.  If you want any more information or to talk about a special order, please contact Rachel at the Norfolk Scone Company directly.

Part of the farm are the private fishing lakes, which we can offer passes for £50, this can be either be paid for at the time of our booking or when you arrive.  The fishing is all catch-and-release.
